Christmas Preparations!

Well, I'm taking a break from the Update the Blog project to show some delightful Christmas pictures and to point everyone's attention to the kids' Christmas wish lists.  The wish lists are located on each kids' page.  They are funny to look through, even though it's well after the fact! Check out the shoes Katie has linked to on her wish list page...  Very interesting.

Anyway, we are blessed to be a family of clowns, apparently.  I had high hopes for a very nice, Hallmark-worthy family shot.  We even have Santa hats!  The kids' Santa hats are monogrammed.  How could the picture be anything else but perfection!?

Katie's good friend tried his hardest to take a decent shot, but... 

Well, apparently we are a family of clowns.  And there's just not much you can do with that!



Josie and Luke...  They shouldn't be sitting that close together...

Well Mac, if you are getting bored with this process perhaps you should try the back row where you can restrain Luke while trying to get Josie to keep her tongue inside her mouth.  Not sure what Steven's up to here, either...

And the requisite Shmancy Pants Dawktor Holiday party, also known as my Dressing Up Because I have A Dress, No Really I Do! party...  Mac shaved his head just for the occassion.  Fancy.
